Meghan Murphy-Goode is a professional clinical counselor and a marriage and family therapist in the state of California. She also holds a mental health counseling license in the state of Florida.

Currently accepting new in-person and telehealth clients. In-person weekend office hours are available in the San Diego Little Italy area. Meghan strives to support her clients by providing an empathetic and client-centered approach. She uses solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral techniques. Meghan is Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trained and has completed Gottman Level One training for couple’s therapy.

Meghan volunteers her counseling services to the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program, and is on the Speakers Bureau for RAINN (Rape Abuse Incest National Network).

The cost for a private pay session ranges from $125 to $150. All major credit cards, HSA, and FSA payment methods are accepted. Aetna, Anthem, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, ComPsych, Kaiser Permanente (Northern and Southern California policies with a referral) Magellan, Sharp Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Oxford, and United Healthcare insurances are accepted.
